In this exciting, newly created role, located at our Markham head office, you will work with our in-house Graphics Department, developing, designing and producing a wide range of marketing, merchandising and communication materials, including websites, flyers, brochures and employee communications. Drawing on your exceptional communication, editing and proofreading skills, and your experience creating websites, you will write content for our recently launched websites, as well as create and update websites for our products. You will also have the opportunity to participate in product launches, vendor tradeshows and other special events.
You are a highly organized multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, and is able to prioritize your work and co-ordinate the work of others.
- You combine a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, New Media or a related field
- with a working knowledge of MS Office, HTML and Macromedia Homesite or other web-design software.
- Your 1 to 3 years of communications or marketing experience involve managing projects and co-ordinating events, ideally in a retail organization.
- Familiarity with design principles, pre-press development and production of printed material is essential.
