We are seeking an intermediate or senior web application developer. Please not that professional Java and .NET/C# are must-have skills/experience.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3 or more years fo professional experience with the design and development of Internet-based applications
- Programming Languages:
- Java
- .NET/C#
- SQL
- XML/XSLT
- HTML
- Experience with relational database design and development
- Experience with one or more of the following database systems:
- MySQL
- SQL-Server
- Oracle
- Advanced understanding of core Internet technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, web servers, server scripting, data interfaces/providers, web services, etc.)
Bonus Skills and Experience
- Content management system design and development experience
- e-commerce application deisgn and development experience
- Programming Languages: PHP
- Development Frameworks: PHP/PEAR, Ruby on Rails, Zope, Drupal, others(?)
- Experience with Unix/Linux development and production environments
- Experience with other database systems: PostgreSQL, DB2, etc.
Experience working in an agency environment is ideal.
