OAOT's Professional Staffing Services division is in need of a Software Applications Engineer/Programmer III: Usability Analyst to be responsible for defining the usability of Payment Solutions products. The Usability Analyst will contribute to all aspects of user-centered design, including needs identification, task analysis, storyboarding and prototyping, as well as end user validation & testing.
h3. Major Responsibilities include
- Work with customers, product management and other architects to gather usability requirements
- Perform operational analysis of the proposed solution
- Prepare the Usability sections of specifications (Architecture Overview, Technical Requirements and Interface)
- Develop user interface prototypes based on gathered requirements
- Consult with other architects and Development to ensure understanding of requirements and resolve issues
- Prepare & deliver customer presentations
- Develop design documents for prototypes
- Coordinate Usability reviews with customers, 3rd parties and internal groups
- Validate developed software for conformance to usability design and goals
- Contribute to and follow the Waterloo Development Process Essential Capabilities
- Experience in Web based & Windows based methodologies for user interfaces
- Ability to work with existing templates to create interface prototypes
- Solid knowledge of a prototyping tool (e.g. Visio, Photo Shop, PowerPoint)
- Solid knowledge of banking
- Ability to travel to various locations, local and long-distance (US & International)
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Good interpersonal & team skills
Qualification / Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in human-computer interaction or related discipline
- Strong experience with banking and payment systems
- Experience at writing specifications and technical reports
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Experience with conducting needs analyses
- Possible travel required to United States
