MKS – GUI Developer/Usability Specialist

Do you know a good interface when you see one? If so, here's your opportunity to make an impact on the design of our MKS Integrity Suite. We are looking for a talented GUI developer/Usability Specialist to give our customers a simple and intuitive user experience. As a key member of our Research and Development group, you will put your usability knowledge to the test as you develop prototypes, measure usability and implement your designs.

In your efforts to enhance the user experience you will be called upon to:

  • Apply user-centred UI design processes
  • Develop prototypes
  • Design and code UI
  • Apply “user” feedback in the design process
  • Provide advice and guidance to team members on best-practices in the GUI design and development

Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or related discipline
  • Post graduate degree Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is a plus
  • Experience with Swing, JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, CSS, GUI frameworks, Web framework
  • Real-world experience in User Interface Design, User-Centred Design, Usability, Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design
  • Experience with Web UI development is a plus
