Candidate
We are looking for an experienced front end web developer to add to our team. The individual must be able to immediately contribute to our projects with very little ramp up on technology. This individual should thrive in an environment characterized by its fast pace and high level of collaboration between team members and clients. The individual must possess experience with a major graphic design program such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, etc. to manipulate images. The individual must be capable of designing web pages using best practices. This includes the ability to create complex page layouts using CSS without HTML tables, down to pixel perfection. Furthermore, we are looking for an individual who can anticipate issues, risks and can track against a project plan.
Must Have Skills

- Excellent experience with XHTML
- Excellent experience with CSS and addressing browser compatibilities
- Excellent experience with JavaScript and DHTML
- Ability to write fully standards compliant XHTML and CSS
- An understanding of information architecture and hierarchy
- Must have experience developing across various browser platforms (E.g. IE6, IE7, FF1.5, FF2.0, Safari 1.3, Safari 2.0)
- Translating a Photoshop file or mockup into HTML
- Complete command of a graphic authoring software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Paint.NET to slice page mockups into usable image fragments on a webpage
- Experience collaborating with and integrating a web solution with software developers
- Experience with a major IDE tool (VS.NET, DreamWeaver, etc …)
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience working under the .NET 1.1 and/or .NET 2.0 Framework
- Experience working with ASP.NET
- Experience working under the Microsoft Visual Studio 2003/2005 IDE
- Experience with Subversion
- Experience with Flash and Actionscript
- Experience with a Content Management System (CMS)
Qualifications
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Web Design or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the web development industry
