Position Summary
We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and passionate client-side web developer to join the Yahoo! Canada Engineering team. You’ll work closely with interaction designers, visual designers, software engineers and product managers in the ever expanding team.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong command of HTML, CSS for doing page layouts, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, DOM Levels 0-2, PHP, cross-browser compatibility issues, browser degradation strategies, optimization techniques (both in file weight and perceived/actual rendering speed), accessibility techniques, device-portability techniques, and internationalization issues. A Computer Science degree or related work experience is also required.
Experience working with a Unix environment, CVS, and bug tracking tools is highly desirable. Knowledge of remote scripting, state management, Apache, and HTTP is helpful.
