Diesel Marketing – Interaction Designer

Role

The interaction Designer works in synergy with the ideation and production teams in order to build efficient user interfaces

He/she participates in the elaboration of the information architecture, information design and user experience

He/she is under the supervision of the Information Architect and works for the Account Executive

Duties

  • Create site map
  • Elaborate wireframes and user interface prototypes
  • Participate in on-site creative meetings
  • Participate in improving good practicesEnsure quality control in the production phase

Skills

  • Analytical and conceptual
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of the good practices of user experience, usability and Web ergonomics
  • Understanding of the steps involved in creating a Web site
  • Knowledge of different technologies and digital solutions
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Structured and rational
  • Flexible

Technical Skills

  • Command of design software (Visio, Omnigraph, Illustrator)
  • Command of productivity software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Command of both English and French (spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of HTML and of Web technologies in general

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience in the field of Web (editor, designer, integrator), whereby a minimum of one year in production and information architecture
  • Concrete examples of large-scale sites created must accompany the application
  • University degree
