This job is for a senior Java software engineer/designer. The job will involve system design, architecture, implementation, testing and performance optimization of a mission critical wireless telecommunication middleware software platform.
- 5 years of experience with 3 Tier application is a must have (Client/Middleware/Database).
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic environment and to solve complex software engineering issues
- Strong understanding of Java, OOD, OOP is a necessity for this position
- Skills with using and optimization of code for MySQL database are also must have.
- Skills with the WEB Services architecture required.
- Excellent people skills required.
- C++ experience an asset.
- Some prior knowledge of Java/Struts platform is preferred
- Candidates with good interpersonal skills with some mentoring/team lead experience will be given priority
- Good understanding of software engineering practices and process
- University degree in Computing Science, Mathematics or Electrical Engineering is required
- Good English
