Scope
The Sales Automation Shared Service department provides planning, project, and operational support for automated Sales processes across all lines of business (LOB) i.e. Rogers and Fido, to the sales departments (regions) including all distribution channels and market segments at a national level.
Responsibilities
- Build audit standards for Sales applications across LOB
- Develop and maintain Sales Central content publishing, usability, and business process policies, procedures and standards
- Research recent best practices in web usability standards to conduct competitive analysis
- Conduct Sales Central audits (quarterly)
- Conduct usability analysis for enhancement concepts, PDP, BAU and change requests
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) for usability standards across all Sales Central modules
- Review and approve error/contextual messages (error management/error text) for all Sales applications across LOB
- Develop and audit Product Catalog pricing tables across LOB
- Review usability applications housed on Sales Central prior to implementation (i.e. during FRD screen walkthroughs)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- 1 – 2 years experience in telecom or high tech sales
- 3 – 5 years experience in usability analysis
- Strong written communications skills in English and French
- Ability to identify and initiate business development opportunities while building client relationships
- Ability to apply cause and effect relationships for customer and internal business processes and learning
- Capability of collecting data, applying appropriate analytical methodology and recommending strategic and tactical options
- Ability to perform appropriate level of assessment to recommend solutions and to make strategic decisions based on analysis, knowledge, experience and judgment
- Ability to effectively structure work, plan activities and define responsibilities to meet business goals
- Team player, highly self motivated, ability to work independently
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, ability to interact with management
- Critical thinking, risk analysis, financial analysis, and negotiation skills
