I love the Teehan+Lax work. Their stuff is just gorgeous. It looks like Jon Lax is leading a discussion titled Why user experience will be the disruptive force of Web 2.0 as part of the AIMS Canada Breakfast Seminar series
I’d love to attend this talk, but $48.15, I guess this is a good way to keep riff raff like me out. I guess I should find the fifty bucks. I found the money to go to CanUX
It also looks like Teehan+Lax has grown by three (3).
Teehan+Lax is pleased to announce the addition of 3 associates. Tom Klepl, David Gillis and Shannon Weir. Tom comes from Pivot Design where he was a senior designer. Tom brings outstanding interface and conceptual design skills to our clients. Tom has worked with clients such as Delta Hotels, Movieola and Ferraro Canada. David Gillis began working at Teehan+Lax last summer while finishing his Master’s in Information Studies at the University of Toronto. In May he completed his degree which was part of the Knowledge Media Collaborative Design program and came to Teehan+Lax full time. Shannon Weir takes on the role of Studio Manager. With the increased staffing and project load it has become necessary to add some support. Most recently, Shannon was a project manager for the design firm Area Communications.
Tom Klepl has some great looking work. David Gillis has a great project at KMDI on Electronically Supporting Medical Bullet Rounds
And Shannon Weir appears to be a talented musician in addition to her role as studio manager.
Congratulations everyone!
