Pete Forde, one of the originators of Rails Pub Nite, and Brent Ashely, Ajax demigod, are hosting Ajax Pub Nite on Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Rhino on Queen Street West. These are “Modeled loosely after the Rails version, every 2nd monday of each month, we’re inviting people with an interest in Javascript, web 2.0, accessibility, standards, and everything close to it to come out to The Rhino in Parkdale”.

Brent and Pete are working to keep the event server framework agnostic. “So basically if your life is connected to building web apps in any way, you should come check it out”. I’m guessing that there will be ASP.Net AJAX, Dojo, Prototype, YUI, jQuery, and others. Perhaps someone will be able to help you choose a Javascript framework
