Michele joined Interactive Ontario as a Project Manager/Producer. Michele is a fantastic digital and jewelery designer. She was one of the main contributors behind the scenes of Alexander Manu’s The Imagination Challenge: Strategic Foresight and Innovation in the Global Economy.
Michele Perras – Based in Toronto, Michele has worked as a research consultant, metalsmith and strategist, embracing a multidisciplinary approach. As a Research Associate at the Beal Institute for Strategic Creativity, a non-profit focusing its efforts towards the intersection of emerging behaviour, technology and business, Michele developed innovation strategies, product ideation and branding for organizations including Motorola, Creative Commons Canada, and Firefly Foundation. She was Research Lead on Founder Alexander Manu’s most recent book, The Imagination Challenge: Strategic Foresight and Innovation in the Global Economy. Michele’s award-winning design studio has been in operation since 2002, specializing in limited production metalwork, jewellery and installations for local and national exhibition. She is also a Sessional Professor in the Faculty of Design, Ontario College of Art & Design.
