My good friend Eli Singer is putting together BarCamp for Marketers, something he calls CaseCamp.
CaseCamp is a marketing oriented unconference inspired by David Crow and BarCamp. It’s open to anyone and completely free.
CaseCamp is about telling stories. Presenters, following The Rules of CaseCamp, share case studies of their work. The goal is to create a commons for discussion, learning and networking.
Looks like the first CaseCamp is happening June 13, 2006 @ 6:00pm at The Brasserie on John Street (walking distance yeah, I might make it out). Make sure you sign up on the wiki if you are planning on attending (there’s still room for one more case study if you’re interested in sharing). It looks like Mitch Joel is planning a CaseCamp in Montreal on July 4, 2006 (how very Independent of him 😉 be sure to check it out.
