It seems that I missed TOJam, The Toronto Indie Game Development Jam, which happened at the beginning of May (May 5-7, 2006 to be exact). Looks like the TOJam was a huge success. We really need an organization to help bring all of these events together. Not a controlling body, but a way for folks to get access to space, to publicity, to resources, to find each other.
Speaking of which, tonight is the Canadian New Media Awards to which Jevon MacDonald has graciously given me his ticket. I’m looking forward to checking out the action. I have no idea what to expect other than I’m probably not wearing jeans and a t-shirt (now where did I put that tie).
Tomorrow night is the sixth installment of DemoCamp. DemoCamp is happening from 6:30pm-8:00pm at MaRS in the Auditorium (downstairs from the mainfloor entrance – look for the BarCampToronto sign if you’re entering using the College Street entrance).
