With big name early-stage venture fund Garage Technology Ventures announcing that they are opening a Montreal office and a $50 million fund. it only make sense that we need a platform for finding companies. One option might be to check out the latest group of participants at DemoCamp5 but if that is a little too unorganized for you, be sure to check 15 Minutes of Fame sessions at Mesh.
Basically we are going to turn over the stage/microphone for about 5 minutes to a handful of entrepreneurs, start-ups and do-gooders with great stories about what they are doing right now in the web 2.0 space. In fact, it could be you! The spots will be awarded based on you writing us a 250 word version of your story – whatever that may be. – Michael McDerment

Maybe we should get together and talk about the compelling story that is the rampaging BarCamp meme, or the post-Cluetrain Pinko Marketing brigade, or the socially-responsible intersection of technology and community at Social Tech Brewing Co and WirelessToronto. Maybe it’s about lesser known projects or people, it’s a great chance for exposure to some of the “thought leaders” in this space.
