First Light Associated Photographers Media company in downtown Toronto seeks an experienced web developer to join a small, tight-knit team.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent
- Demonstrated expertise of PHP/mySQL, query optimization, object-oriented design.
- Experience with writing SOAP clients and servers
- Expert knowledge of xHTML and CSS (i.e. able to hand-code standards-compliant markup)
- Expert knowledge of Javascript/DOM and AJAX
- Basic Linux command line proficiency (Perl/Shell Scripting)
- Experience working with large databases and e-commerce applications
- Good sense of design and sensitivity to usability and accessibility issues
Nice to haves
- Macromedia Flash/Actionscript
- Adobe Photoshop
