Jason,

I'm not wow'd by a lot of design books. I think that this is a good treatise on designing products and services for changability and uncertainty. Others like Don Norman and Jane Fulton Suri http://thoughtlessacts.com/ have been promoting usage over design for a long time. Subject to Change is one of the first books I've seen that offers a toolset and a mindset for designers to embrace uncertainty in the design process.

Nothing revolutionary, but refreshing.

Still not certain how you felt about the book rom that review. Is that a thumbs up or down overall? I'm about 40 pages into it myself and everything seems to be common sense and I'm just waiting to be wow'd.
