First of all digital means you have a box that gives you some channels and some music channels that my TV can already pick up but I dont listen to cause it's stupid, I want music iTunes/iPod. Picture isn't any better and I actually find it nicer on my analog cable than digital. As for HD well I can get three free channels in BC, CTV, GLOBAL, and CBC HD OTA. As for the DCTs that Shaw rents out, they're disappointing and just a waste of space and money. As for the premium HD who the hell cares about BIG HD I don't watch college anything and the same channels different station is a complete waste of money. I really want an all-in-one home theatre system that does everything DVD, MP3, Dolby5.1, radio, TiVo, etc. But I want to be able to connect to it over 802.11 and configure and manage it using my Mac (so that probably means and embedded http server that uses FLEX or Royale or Avalon for a thicker client UI).</p> I go back and forth about using my computer and my home theatre together.
