VC Roundtables

Rick Segal is traveling across the Great White North hosting a series of Roundtables. Rick’s goal is to mix it up with Canadian entrepreneurs and to help educate them about venture capital in Canada. These events are for entrepreneurs, who can expect to walk away with:

  • An understanding of the VC world as Rick sees it
  • A good set of reference documents/examples/materials
  • Some of your top of mind questions answered
  • A better feel for the VC industry and if raising third party capital is right for you

Jevon provides some further insight at StartupNorth. Basically if you want to meet a Canadian VC who has insight and is not afraid to call it as he sees it. You should spend some time talking to Rick.

The full schedule includes:

I wish I could make it to one of those, but unfortunately, I'm already overbooked.<br />

Any idea if it'll happen again next year?

I'm not sure. I think Rick is open to meeting entrepreneurs any time for his 30 minute No Harm, No Foul meetings. There are folks in the Montreal JLA offices that might be willing to do the same thing.
