	&lt;p&gt;On design books:&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;My top recommendation for the last month has been Papernak&#039;s Design for the real world. He totally kicks ass.&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;He deflates the misguided pretensions of many designers, and writes passionately and directly about what designers are supposed to be doing (and he wrote this 25 years before product design  and green became mainstream). It&#039;s a unusually raw book &amp; part manifesto, part skills education, part stories of experience, but it works. &lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;I don&#039;t consider a person a well-read designer if they haven&#039;t given this book a spin.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
