I’m a few days late. Roy and Colin hosted FacebookCampToronto at MaRS. Joey has a great summary at Global Nerdy. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to attend (stupid cold kicking my ass), though I hear that there were props directed my way for coordinating the space with the great folks at MaRS. It looked like an interesting event to learn more about Facebook as a platform.

I’m sorry I missed an interesting event. Amber provided great coverage on CityTV. And my RSS reader has brought me a couple of additional Facebook Developer resources including:
- How to Develop a Hit Facebook App: 29 Essential Tools and Tutorials
- Marketing Your Facebook Application: The Series Introduction
- Developing a Facebook app in Ruby on Rails
- Getting starting with Facebook Application Development
p. I heard there were approximately 450 people in attendence (number to be finalized I’m not sure if it was 453 or 463). My favourite part has been the discussion about the conference format. There is the usual unconference suggestions including the use of OpenSpaces as a solution for scaling the unconference. Join the TorCamp group and participate in the discussion about how to improve the attendee experience.
