mDialogue in the QuickTime Guide

Greg Philpott has managed to get his Toronto startup, mDialogue, in Apple’s QuickTime Guide. I’m still not entirely sure who the mDialogue market is yet. The application allows you to upload and share high quality video (using MPEG4/H.264 encoding). It uses a folder based categorization system to organize each of the pictures. Greg has offered me a complimentary account on the system. Which I have not taken, only because I don’t produce video content (yet). So I am really not part of his target market (I’d be more likely to want to distribute my content using a p2p network like BitTorrent or Joost). Check it out, send Greg your comments, suggestions, and feedback.

It's all about emerging technologies, emergent signals and latent behaviours. The distribution network for me is because I'd like to investigate those technologies more, nothing to do with mDialogue per say.

Hi David, here is a link to a vodcast talks about one of our target markets. Folks like me that do shoot a lot of DV Cam content (vacations, birthdays, etc.) but find it a pain to keep track of. Curious, why does the method of content distribution really me a lot to you?
