	&lt;p&gt;I too have been mulling over Tara Hunt&#039;s posts on Pinko Marketing.  Looking at it from the perspective of a small business (optometry practice helped me.)&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;I think that many small businesses (like the optometry practice you described) already practiced many of the marketing tactics that Tara is describing.&lt;br /&gt;Its bigger businesses that need to absorb these concepts of open conversations with customers.&lt;/p&gt;
