With Tara Hunt and Chris coming to town, we might as well run another BarCampToronto . Tara and Chris are hosting the next incarnation of BarCampToronto either May 13-14 or May 20-21.
What’s BarCamp?
This is not DemoCamp. BarCamp is an ad-hoc un-conference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees.
All attendees must give a demo, a session, or help with one. All presentions are scheduled the day they happen. Prepare in advance, but come early to get a slot on the wall.
“Barcamp is a longtail riot about community, about collaboration, about DIY open source and independence.” – Chris Messina

Glad to see this is happening. I'm not sure I understand the logic of the dates though. If the MMMSR Conference is May 8&9 then 13/14 and 20/21 sound pretty far away for many people to be able to call it one trip.
Also, May 14th is Mother's Day and we should probably be encouraging people to spread love to the Mom's of the world (MomCamp?).
Has anyone considered the weekend BEFORE MMMSR (May 6/7)? That way BarCampTDot would flow into MMMSR.
Just a thought.
thanks for thinking of me!
just do what's right for you! I would prefer right AFTER the Web 2.0 TO conference say May 10-11, but do what you think is best, as i said on my blog comment, i may not be able to come for business and family reasons but i'll try to get Bryght guy James Walker to come
Ok so we have a when, do we have a where?
Great news & I've been looking forward to the next one ever since 1.0. Tara and Chris look like fantastic additions to the Toronto crew. I think I already know my topic, posted here
